About us

Mechanical and Process Engineering, D-​MAVT – We educate students for excellence and leadership in science and industry. We perform cutting-edge research at an international level, tackling the challenges faced by the Swiss and global community through engineering innovation our various technological fields.

The MAS, the CAS were developed within the framework of the external pageSCCER Mobilitycall_made.

The concept for the continuing education courses was developed in the project team by members of the SCCER Mobility: Prof. Dr Konstantinos Boulouchos, Dr Ruth Förster, Dr Merja Hoppe, Prof. Dr Martin Raubal and Dr Gloria Romera, as well as with Dr Peter de Haan as a practical expert and ETHZ lecturer for energy and mobility. Various partners from the freight and passenger transport sectors and researchers from different disciplines were specifically involved.

Further departments at ETHZ are involved in the programme, in particular Dept. of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering.
